This kit includes EIGHT "Clamshell" mounts (4 upper, and 4 lower) that we designed to attach our Safari and Platform Roof Racks to the Factory Roof Rails of a XJ Cherokee (1995-2001), and allows you to mount ANY roof rack (with your custom mounts) to the roof of your Cherokee XJ using the factory roof rails.

NOTE: Custom steel adapter plates/mounts will need to be made by you to bolt to your rack...we're not able to help with that due to the infinite number of variations.
